Questions merchants ask

Is it safe for my customers to pay through the link?

Payments happen on Paystack's own secure checkout. Card details go straight to them and never pass through our servers or your chat.

How long does setup take?

A few minutes. Sign up, confirm your email, add the bank or mobile money account you want to be paid into, then send your first invoice from your WhatsApp number. There's nothing to install.

Do I need a new phone number?

No. You keep your own WhatsApp. You message our business number to create invoices, and every message your customer gets carries your business name.

What if my customer pays cash or by bank transfer?

Text “paid” and the invoice code, for example “paid K7Q2XM”. The invoice is marked paid, reminders stop, and it counts in your dashboard.

What if a WhatsApp message doesn't go through?

Sends are retried and every attempt is logged. Failed messages show on the invoice's timeline and you can resend with one tap.

Will reminders annoy my customers?

They start on the due date, go out at most every 48 hours, stop after five, and stop straight away when the invoice is paid or cancelled.

Can I cancel?

Yes. There's no contract. Starter is free, Shop is billed monthly or yearly, and you can cancel any time from the billing page.

Send your next invoice from the chat.

Free to start. Your first pay link is one message away.
