Terms of service

These terms cover your use of Invoice Collector. By creating an account you agree to them.

The service

We let you create invoices (by WhatsApp message or in the dashboard), send customers a pay link, send reminders and receipts, and see what has been paid. Customer payments are processed by Paystack and settle directly to the bank or mobile money account you set up. We do not hold your customers' money and take no share of it.

Your account

• You must confirm your email, and you are responsible for keeping your password safe.
• Messages from your registered WhatsApp number are treated as coming from you, so keep that phone secure.
• Only invoice customers for real goods or services you have agreed with them.

Plans and billing

• Starter is free and includes 10 invoices per calendar month (UTC).
• Shop is $9 per month or $90 per year in US dollars, with unlimited invoices, CSV export and priority email support.
• Subscriptions are sold and billed by Dodo Payments and renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel any time from Billing; you keep paid access until the end of the period you paid for. If a renewal fails your plan is put on hold and you return to the free limits until it is fixed.
• Paystack and your bank may charge their own fees on customer payments. Those come out of your settlement and are not ours.
• Refunds on subscriptions follow Dodo Payments' policy and applicable law.

Messages and customers

• Invoices, reminders and receipts go to your customers over WhatsApp using approved templates. You are responsible for having a reason to contact each customer.
• If a customer replies STOP we stop reminders to that number for you. Do not try to work around it.
• WhatsApp, Paystack and our other providers can have outages or refuse a message; we log every attempt but cannot guarantee delivery.

Acceptable use

No fraud, no invoicing for illegal goods or services, no harassment, no attempts to break or overload the service, and no breaking WhatsApp's or Paystack's rules. We may suspend accounts that do.

Your data and ending the account

You can delete your account in Settings at any time, which removes your data and cancels your subscription (see the privacy policy). We may close accounts that break these terms.

Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, missed payments caused by provider outages or wrong details entered by you, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms and will tell you by email before material changes take effect.
